Groundbreaking at Aldersly

Congratulations to Aldersly Retirement Community, which celebrated its upcoming Marselisborg expansion on July 19th with a groundbreaking ceremony attended by future residents, board members, staff, and other stakeholders. Aldersly, a life plan community nestled in the peaceful foothills of Mt. Tam, received full financing in May 2023 for this expansion. This includes the construction of additional independent living units and expansion of common areas following the repositioning of their assisted living center.

Founded more than 100 years ago upon the Danish concept of hygge – a quality of coziness, comfort, connection, and contentment – Aldersly has continued to honor this traditional Scandinavian value throughout its evolution over the past century.
