TownCreek Retirement Community is a nursing home in Huntsville, Texas that is moving its operations to a new site and replacement campus. The campus currently consists of approximately 85 skilled nursing and rehab units, located in a dated physical plant that does not allow for optimal resident care.
Greenbrier worked with TownCreek on a Strategic Plan to assess the market opportunity, evaluate financing options and determine the financial impact of the replacement and expansion of the community. Greenbrier is now managing the development of the new TownCreek campus which will include 36 assisted living apartment homes, 18 specialty memory support apartments and 66 skilled nursing and rehab units. The proposed layout, finishes, and buildings will provide residents with better service and a more residential look and feel. The total investment is approximately $14 million and construction is scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2010.
